We wound up switching our off day to yesterday and getting in a nice work out this morning. We went for a very nice bike ride to the park in the neighborhood. Got some awesome cardio time in!
We both have papers to write for school, yet here I sit writing and while Katie watches my Giants increase their lead over Atlanta! Whoohoooo!!!
Today we faced some temptations... we went to lunch at Chili's and were faced with what used to be an awesome menu of fried delishishness... lol. Now, we made better choices. I had the grilled chicken tacos while Katie had the grilled shrimp tacos. Both came with a small portion of rice and some black beans that were incredible!!! The server brought a basket of fried cheese to the table beside us and they looked really good but we made the right choice and didn't get anything before our meal! It's the baby steps that add up to lifestyle changes one by one. We took pride knowing that we ate well today. We weren't stuffed and miserable when we left there like we have been so many times before!
Katie is having a hard time adjusting to eating healthier, but I know she can do it!
